Services and Fees

The archives are currently closed to in-person research access. Requests can be made via email (archives@ontario.anglican.ca) for virtual records requests including baptism, marriage and burial registries.

Diocesan Archives Services & Fee Schedule

To conduct a research we would need name of the individual and their supporting names and dates i.e. their parent's names and birth dates(as much as detail possible).There is no fee to do parish research at the Anglican Diocese of Ontario Archives (ADOA), a fee is only applied when a record is found.

• Certificate (or certified transcript) of Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage, or Burial — $40 ($30 for a digital scan)
• Signed letters from the Archivist confirming the results of a genealogical search cost $10.00 each.
• An additional $10 fee applies for shipping and handling if the mailing address is in the USA.
• The archivist reserves the right to waive fees in certain circumstances.
• All fees are payable in advance with either a cheque written to 'Anglican Diocese of Ontario' with a memo 'archive' 165 Ontario St.,Commercial Suite 4&5, Kingston, ON, K7L 2Y6 or by e-transfer sent to payments@ontario.anglican.ca
• Please note that this email address is used for payment only,and no correspondence will be answered.Payments through third-party platforms such as Zelle,PayPal are not accepted.If you wish to use an alternative payment method,please wait for confirmation from the Archives directly.

Photocopies are 50 cents each.
