The Diocese of Ontario is seeking a highly organized and professional administrative assistant & office manager to support the bishop and executive officer and oversee the daily operations of the diocesan centre.

This trusted role provides senior administrative support, coordinates governance and meetings, and ensures a welcoming, efficient office environment. The successful candidate will manage multiple priorities with discretion, strong communication skills, and a service‑oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive support to the bishop and executive officer
  • Calendar, meeting, and correspondence management
  • Preparation of agendas, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Coordination of diocesan committees, Synod, and events
  • Day‑to‑day management of the Diocesan Centre
  • First point of contact for visitors and inquiries

Qualifications

  • Experience in senior administrative or office management roles
  • Excellent organization, communication, and judgment
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and office systems
  • Confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Experience in non‑profit or faith‑based settings an asset

Job Description: We are seeking an accounting assistant to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have experience and skills in the following:

  • Accounts Payables
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Bank and credit card reconciliation
  • Assist the finance department with additional tasks as required

Requirements and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently, within a cooperative team environment. A diploma in finance or accounting would be beneficial, however a combination of work experience and post secondary education will be considered. New graduates are also encouraged to apply.

You will have demonstrated strong skills in accounting software (preferably Sage 300 experience), Excel and Microsoft suite. Most importantly, you will have a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

We are blessed with a 1977 Gabriel Kney Pipe Organ, a five-foot grand piano, and a Viscount F1 Cantorum. Music Director - St. James' Kemptville

St. James Anglican Church in Kemptville, Ontario, is seeking a music director. This is a growing congregation 25km south of Ottawa. The church has a 2025 Johannus Digital Church Organ, model Ecclesia T-377. Mentoring is available if the applicant is not familiar with the instrument.

The St. James Choir is a small but enthusiastic group of voices who practice once during the week and on Sunday morning prior to the service. The position is part-time, approximately 10-12 hours per week. Time requirements will increase around the Easter and Christmas seasons.

The music director will work under the direction of the incumbent. The church wardens are responsible for appointing the music director and overseeing remuneration. Vacation is provided in the contract.
