To Love & Serve: Anglican Beliefs & Practices
Bishop William Cliff is inviting clergy and parishes to participate in a diocesan-wide book study in 2026 as a response to the growing marginalization of the church’s teachings in modern media. He emphasizes the urgent need to strengthen catechesis—how the church teaches and communicates its core beliefs—especially in a cultural climate where those beliefs are often misunderstood or drowned out.
He introduces a flexible study program (6, 8, or 12 weeks) based on the book To Love and Serve, a Canadian adaptation of Walk in Love by Scott Gunn and Melody Wilson Shobe.
This resource has been revised to reflect Anglican theology in a Canadian context and is designed to foster deep, honest conversations about what the church teaches—particularly around topics like death, resurrection, and the Eucharist.
Short weekly video introductions will be recorded to support facilitators and shared here on this webpage when available.
