DOORS Annual Report 2025

The Diocese of Ontario is pleased to release the 2025 DOORS Annual Report, “A Beacon of Light Amidst the Darkness.”

The report highlights the transformative impact of refugee sponsorship, sharing stories of reunification, newcomer experiences, and the reality behind this year’s 33 arrivals and 41 new applications. It also outlines major challenges facing refugees, including long wait times, employment barriers, housing costs, and limited access to language programs.

You’ll also read about new initiatives such as the English Conversation Circle and the continued Food Security Program, along with DOORS’ growing partnerships and national engagement.
