Resignation of Finance Officer Alex Pierson

Alex Pierson, diocesan financial officer, who has been on medical leave since mid-December, has submitted his resignation effective March 30, 2026. Alex enjoyed a varied and successful career in the business world, most notable at Nortel and Siemens before he joined the diocese as chair of the Finance Committee, then diocesan executive officer and finally diocesan financial officer. He has also served as executive officer of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario. Bishop Cliff wishes Alex well in his continued recovery and is thankful for his service.
