On Sunday December 20 at 4 pm, the Diocese of Ontario will be posting on our YouTube channel a special online Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols service. Clergy and laity from across our diocese will each contribute their own video piece to be part of this special diocesan online service.
The Service of Nine Lessons and Carols, is a service of Christian worship traditionally celebrated on or near Christmas Eve. God affirming the goodness of creation, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus is told in nine short Bible readings or lessons from Genesis, the prophetic books and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and choir anthems. Join us online at 4 pm on Sunday December 20 on the Diocese of Ontario YouTube channel.
