Summer Fruit for Souls will return virtually this year, allowing us to connect, worship and learn in the comfort and safety of our homes. From Monday, July 19 to Friday July 23 The Lay Readers Executive will host a virtual Summer Fruit for Souls.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Sylvia Keesmaat and her topic will be “On Earth as it is in Heaven: the Coming of the Kingdom.” When we pray “Your kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven,” what exactly are we hoping for? Beginning with our calling to live as a community of God’s image bearers on earth, Dr. Keesmat will explore how the future hope for God’s kingdom on earth nourishes and sustains our calling in the present." Visit the lay readers page on the diocesan website to access the registration form and a letter from Mary Raddon, the Summer Fruit for Souls Coordinator.

There is unlimited registration, room for all and still time to register, up until JULY 10. The lay readers are providing a seminar on using zoom for registrants who wish to become more comfortable using zoom. We also offer special arrangements for those who have unstable internet. Sign up and join us for five mornings the week of July 19 to 23 to learn more about God’s Kingdom on earth and your part in it. We look forward to seeing you then!
