The Parish of Loughborough serves Anglican needs in the South Frontenac Township area.  Services are held at St. Paul's Church in Sydenham (4336 Mill Street).  The Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion) is celebrated as the chief weekly service every Sunday at 9:00AM.  The services are intergenerational, children go to the hall during the service for the proclamation of the word at their level.  All people are welcome to share in the service and communion.  We are an inclusive congregation seeking better ways to include you in our midst.

Opportunity for discussion and sharing are provided in various forms.  Choir meets every regularly and all are welcomed to attend.  Please call 613-376-3003 for information on choir times.

The ministry of the parish is carried out by all the parishioners.  We believe in the Ministry of All the Baptized.  Many people do many acts of service and evangelism without knowing that they are ministers of this parish.  Come and join in the wonderful opportunity of building the parish ministry to serve the community around us.  Come and help us be stronger because you are part of our team.

The church building dates from the 1837 era, was moved to the present site in the early 1900s.  The stone building is traditional in architecture and layout.  The church seats 150.  The beautiful stain glass windows are showing their age but give ambience to our worship space.
The building is wheelchair accesible and washroom access is  now possible since the installing of a new bathroom at the main floor level. (2008)
The hall, located in the basement area, is equipped with tables and chairs to seat 75 or more persons.  A kitchen (being upated in 2009) can cater to teas and simple meals.  The hall is used by the children's education department  The hall is not wheelchair accessible.
The church has a good organ and a piano.  A sound system aids the hearing of readings.
St. Paul's is now the only functioning church facilitiy in the Parish of Loughborough, serving Anglican needs for the communities of Verona, Harrowsmith and Sydenham and adjacent areas.

We continue on a campaign to reach all Anglicans in our area to ask them to come and be part of our church family.  We are a welcoming congregation that is anxious to meet visitors and newcomers.  We are anxious to bring new people into this Christian group giving them an opportunity to experience the worship and faith life of Anglicans in an inclusive way.  If you can help us with music and instruments, become a reader of intercessor, lead or participate in a study group, or just come and attend the weekly eucharist we need you now.
